The Dancer There came a dancer from the far Far-East ...to dance the dance with the best and the least
She danced her spell from land to sea
How this wisp of a cloud could float so free
A thousand men danced to win her hand
That lovely face of the setting sun
... to earn her favor and her love
Alas I fear she does not see such as I am
I would dance with her with all my heart
I pray a time will come one day
I'll bow and take her lovely hand.
... and if the music dies away
But if good fortune should have a say
